Islamic Jihad will continue launching attacks

In a TV interview Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said, "I will not negotiate on the subject of Jerusalem. The [settlement] blocs will remain territorially linked to the State of Israel. At the same time, there will be no return of Palestinian refugees to Israel." PA leadership and the terrorist groups linked to the PA were quick to condemn the Prime Minister's remarks. PA Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei said the PA would make no concessions on the West Bank [Judea and Samaria], Jerusalem or the so-called refugees. Before a meeting Thursday evening between PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and the Islamic Jihad leaders in Gaza, Islamic Jihad leader Muhammad Hindi said they would continue to launch attacks against Israel after the Gaza pullout. "The pressure of the resistance, as well as the steadfastness of our people and the rockets of our fighters all led the enemy to take the decision to run away from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank. The resistance will continue until the expulsion of the occupation from all our lands, including the West Bank, Jerusalem and all of Palestine."
