Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas said again that Israel’s pullout from the Gaza Strip is just the beginning. Abbas said Israel the withdrawal cannot end with Gaza, but Israel must retreat from all of Judea, Samaria and, of course, Jerusalem. Leaders of the surrounding Arab nations called to congratulate Abbas and the Palestinian people on Israel’s permanent withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip and northern Samaria.
