Last evening, a second Jewish Israeli went on a shooting spree, killing three Palestinians. Asher Weisgan, the 40-year-old father of two from the settlement of Shvut Rachel in northern Samaria near Shiloh, hoped to divert the government’s destruction of four Jewish communities in northern Samaria. Two weeks ago, a Jewish soldier, Natan Zada, who went AWOL from the army to avoid expelling Jews from their homes, killed four Israeli Arabs on a bus in the northern Israeli Arab city of Shfaram. He thought he could divert the planned evacuation of Jewish communities in Gush Katif and northern Samaria.
