Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal said that the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza Strip is the beginning of the end of the Zionist dream in “Palestine.” Next, they intend to take over the West Bank (the Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria) and then Jerusalem. Mashaal said that Hamas’ struggle is not against the Palestinian Authority, but rather to take back what he believes to be their land. He said that Palestine is an Islamic country that belongs to Moslems and that’s what makes it a “holy struggle.”
