Abducted Frenchman released

Last Monday, three masked Palestinian militiamen abducted Mohammad Ouathi, a sound technician from France 3 television, outside his hotel in Gaza City. Though PA security officials blamed the Popular Resistance Committees for the kidnapping, the group held a press conference to refute the PA’s claim, absurdly accusing Israel of being behind the abduction. Upon his release, Ouathi seemed to be in reasonable health when he met with French diplomats at a PA security installation.
