At a meeting in Gaza City yesterday, Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman pledged Egypt's support of the Palestinian Authority's reoccupation of all the territory regained by Israel during the 1967 Six Day War. "Egypt, its government and its people support the Palestinian people and their leadership," Suleiman told the PA's legislative council. Suleiman also met with Hamas leaders to discuss plans following Israel's withdrawal from Gaza. The photo shows Mahmud Abbas in a meeting with Omar Suleiman yesterday in Gaza.
