The Islamic terrorist group Hamas kidnapped and killed a 50-year-old Israeli factory worker, and then released a video of the man begging for his life. The victim, Sasson Nuriel, asked Israel to release Palestinian prisoners. Hamas said it kidnapped Nuriel with the intention of bargaining for the release of prisoners, but when Israel began a series of arrest operations, it decided to kill him. The army has arrested several militants suspected of involvement in the kidnapping.
