Kassam landed close to house of PM

Sunday, October 16, 2005 |

Yesterday military sources revealed that remnants of a Kassam rocket have been found “very close” to the farmhouse of PM Ariel Sharon on his Sycamore/Farm located in the western Negev. Apparently the rocket, which fell not far from the grave of Sharon’s late wife Lily, had been fired several weeks ago but was only discovered Saturday morning during a routine sweep of the ranch grounds. For the Palestinian rocket makers being able to hit the Prime Minister farm had been the wanted “Holy Grail”.
