PA Security Chief refuses to disarm terrorists

Wednesday, October 19, 2005 |

Shortly before tomorrow’s meeting between the chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, and US President Bush in Washington, the Palestinian Security Chief, Jibril Rajoub, declared that he refuses to disarm the Hamas terrorists and other terrorist groups. This contradicted the head of his government, Abbas, who had just declared at the beginning of the week that the Palestinian Authority will confiscate all illegal weapons. Israel now expects President Bush to demand, as he has before, that Palestinian terrorists be disarmed.
