Priestly blessing not hindered by the rain

Not caring about the cold rain hundreds of Jews belonging to the family of priests – Cohanim – came yesterday to the Western (wailing) Wall in Jerusalem to bless the people of Israel, as is done every Sukkoth and Pessach. The priests have to take off their shoes and wash their hands before they speak the words of the Aharonite Blessing.
