Tougher measures against "armed bandits"

In Washington, US President Bush called upon his guest, Mahmoud Abbas, the chairman of the Palestine Authority, to take tougher measures against the terrorists, whom Bush called “armed bandits.” At the same time, US Foreign Minister, Condeleeza Rice, called upon Israel not only to not build any more new settlements, but also to stop any further building in Jewish settlements already in existence.
