Palestinian mother hides grenade under baby

Israeli troops found a hand grenade hidden under a baby during a raid in the town of Nablus (biblical Shechem) in Samaria. Troops entered a house looking for wanted terrorists and became suspicious of the way a woman was carrying her one-month-old son. She was found holding the grenade under the baby’s back, the army said. "To see a woman using her baby to hide a grenade is not typical," said the commander of the raid, Lieutenant-Colonel Arik Chen. Five terrorists were arrested in the raid, and soldiers found 10 kilos (22 pounds) of explosives hidden in a suitcase in the house.
