Anti-Israel demonstrations in Iran

More than a million Iranians took to the streets today to back their president’s call for the destruction of Israel. Demonstrations marched in downtown Tehran with placards reading, "Israel must be destroyed" and "Israel must be wiped off the map." They were marking the annual anti-Israel protest known as “Jerusalem Day.” Other placards said, "Death to Israel!” and Death to America!" A similar mass demonstration was held in Beirut.
