Israel launched more attacks on terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip over the weekend, using helicopters, fighter jets and artillery. The army said most of the bombs and missiles hit open fields used by Palestinians to fire rockets at Israel. A generator was hit, knocking out electricity to thousands of homes. In one attack, a member of the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades was killed when his car was hit by a missile. The assault is in response to a suicide bombing last Wednesday that killed five Israelis. The main target is the Islamic Jihad group, which claimed responsibility for the bombing.
