Two mortar shells slammed into the Israeli moshav (village) of Netiv Ha’asara on the Gaza border. A house took a direct hit but miraculously, there were no serious injuries. Israel responded with artillery fire. The attack followed Israel’s assassination of two senior terrorists in Gaza on Tuesday. At funerals for the terrorists, mourners chanted, "Death to Israel! Yes to resistance!”
