Netanyahu: Peretz will lead nation to poverty

Former Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu joined the array of critics ganging up on newly elected Labor Chairman Amir Peretz. “His policies will lead to a dramatic increase in unemployment, will halt growth, and will exacerbate poverty,” Netanyahu said. Peretz has received a constant dose of criticism since he defeated Vice Prime Minister Shimon Peres in party elections last week.
