An Israeli firm has cashed in on a US government contract to make components for US Marine vehicles. Plasan Sasa will be producing “Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement” armor kits as part of a $110.1 million order announced by Armor Holdings, Inc. The kits are designed for crews in the field to perform swift and easy assembly and disassembly according to changing mission specifications, Plasan said. Their modular nature allows them to be easily transferred from one vehicle to another.
