New death threats against Sharon

Friday, November 18, 2005 |

Graffiti with death threats against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was found in a bathroom of the Knesset. Parliamentary officials say it was scrawled by opponents of the Gaza pullout, who were visiting the Knesset. Sharon was in the building at the time, though in a restricted area not accessible to visitors. The threats make people nervous. After all, Israel just held emotional observances marking the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
