Israeli troops hurt in Jenin

Three members of Israeli police elite counter-terrorism force were injured Wednesday in an exchange of fire with armed Palestinians during an operation to detain suspects in Jenin. The incident occurred after troops besieged a home where suspects were hiding. Gunfights ensued at the scene. Meanwhile, soldiers near Tulkarem recovered a handgun, two hunting rifles, and ammunition and detained the homeowner early Wednesday.
