Athletes inducted into Jewish Sports Hall of Fame

Six Jewish athletes will be inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in Netanya today. Americans Kenny Bernstein (Photo), six-time National Hot Rod Association champion, Swimmer Jason Lezak, a member of the US gold medal-winning relay team at the Olympics in 2000 and 2004, and bowling great Marshal Holman are among the inductees. Brazilian Adriana Behar, an Olympic beach volleyball medalist, will also be inducted along with two athletes honored posthumously, Australian-born rugby legend Albert Rosenfeld, and former World Lightweight champion Al Singer. The ceremony will be held at the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame Museum. Since 1979, 315 athletes from 24 countries have been elected.
