Israeli forces struck at rocket launching sites and access roads in the Gaza Strip after more Palestinian rockets were fired at the southern Israeli town of Sderot. No injuries were reported, but Sderot residents said Wednesday night was one of the most difficult they could remember. Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal said he also did not sleep much. “As a result of the dozens of phone calls by frightened residents and particularly heavy shelling by the IDF, the residents simply woke up from the booms and the firing, and we’re trying to function in this impossible situation as well.” The Air Force also fired missiles at a car in a refugee camp in southern Gaza, killing a commander in the Popular Resistance Committees.
