The weather in Israel

Friday, December 09, 2005 |

Mild. Please pray for rain! December, January and February are the most crucial months for precious rain, which is needed to fill up the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s biggest reservoir, as well as the depleted Coastal and Mountain Aquifers. There hasn’t been a drop of rain this month and there’s no rain in sight--and that’s cause for concern. The Sea of Galilee is a whopping 3 meters (yards) below capacity. Highs for today: Jerusalem: 71F (21C); Tel Aviv: 73F (22C); Eilat: 85F (29C).
