IDF continues air strikes in Gaza

Thursday, December 15, 2005 |

The Israel Defense Forces continued its offensive on terrorist targets in Gaza, striking the home of a leading Palestinian terrorist. Witnesses said the three-story building belonged to Amar Karmout, a leader of the Popular Resistance Committee (PRC), a coalition of Palestinian terrorists that specializes in cross-border rocket fire into Israel. Karmout was apparently not at home at the time of the attack. Another Israeli plane fired a missile at the office of a charity linked to Islamic Jihad, causing damage but no casualties. Military sources said the office had been used to plan attacks. The army said it killed four terrorists Wednesday on their way to launch rockets or mortar shells on Israel (Photo).
