Peretz camp: Sharon using terror for himself

Thursday, December 15, 2005 |

Motti Morel, Labor party leader’s campaign manager said Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is renewing targeted assassinations in order to turn attention away from other issues and enhance his own success in the polls. “The prime minister has the ability to decide if there will be terrorist attacks here or not,” he charged. Sharon’s party officials were furious and pointed out the Labor chairman Amir Peretz has no experience in security and foreign affairs. “Peretz is dangerous to Israel,” said Kadima public relations manager Lior Horev. “Only a deluded party, a lame and irresponsible leadership, could allow a campaigns manager to dare accuse the prime minister of encouraging terrorist attacks.”
