Settler killed in Palestinian attack

Friday, December 16, 2005 |

Palestinian gunmen killed a Jewish settler in a drive-by shooting near Hebron. The 30-year-old driver who lives in the area was shot in the head. Two passengers in the vehicle were slightly wounded. The al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ ruling Fatah movement, and the Islamic Jihad claimed joint responsibility for the attack. It’s the latest sign that the 10-month-old “cease-fire” is collapsing.
