The weather in Israel

Friday, December 16, 2005 |

RAIN is expected over the Sabbath, after the driest December (so far) in seven years! December, January and February are the most crucial months for precious rain, which is needed to fill up the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s biggest reservoir, as well as the depleted Coastal and Mountain Aquifers. The Sea of Galilee is a whopping 3 meters (10 feet) below capacity, so please pray for rain. Highs for today: Jerusalem: 59F (15C); Tel Aviv: 66F (18C); Eilat: 74F (23C).
