Rain falls heavy in the Holy Land

Sunday, December 25, 2005 |

Heavy rain and even snow fell countrywide over the weekend. Even though there were reports of possible snow in Jerusalem for Christmas Day and Hanukkah Eve, the country’s capital only awoke to the treacherous winds, rains and floods on a crisp winter day. Meanwhile, in the north, snow fell on the Golan Heights, on Mt. Hermon, and the Sea of Galilee raised 7.5 cm. Thank God for his answered prayers!
