Prime Minister returns to work

Sunday, December 25, 2005 |

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon returned to work, and is slated to attend and chair a weekly cabinet meeting later today. Sharon had been out of work a week after suffering a mild stroke. This could possibly be the last cabinet meeting the prime minister will chair with his four remaining Likud ministers as he has formed his own party, Kadima, which many Likud members have followed. Sharon is also scheduled to attend a Kadima faction meeting Sunday.
