The Jerusalem municipality is sponsoring the world's largest Hanukkah candle. The candle, built from 5,000 individual candles (3.5 tons of wax), in 8 different colors, will be placed in Pisgat Ze'ev, a northern Jerusalem neighborhood.

It will be 25.5 feet tall (8.5 m.) and 33 inches (85 cm) wide and will be entered in the “Guinness Book of World Records.” The candle will be lit on Sunday.
