Iranian president: Europe wanted to complete Holocaust

Monday, January 02, 2006 |
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continued his verbal onslaught against Israel. His latest charge: European countries sought to complete the Nazi genocide by establishing a Jewish state in the midst of Moslem countries. “Don’t you think that continuation of genocide by expelling Jews from Europe was one of (the Europeans’) aims in creating a regime of occupiers of (Jerusalem)?” Ahmadinejad said. He has previously said there was no Holocaust, that Israel should be “wiped off map” and that Europeans should make room in their own nations for a Jewish state. He said Europeans created this “Jewish camp” called Israel to rid their continent of Jews and that Israel was now supported in what he termed the slaughter of Moslems.
