While the nation is focused on Ariel Sharon’s hospital bed, the Palestinians haven’t let up rocket attacks in southern Israel. This weekend, a heavy barrage of rockets was fired from the Gaza Strip at the northern Negev and south of Ashkelon, two barely missing a gas station. No injuries were reported. The rocket launchers took advantage of low visibility so that the Israel Air Force could not locate them. The army said that about 15 rockets were launched, but many of them landed within the Palestinian Authority.
