Palestinian film gets Oscar nomination

The Palestinian film “Paradise Now” was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. Paradise Now recently received a Golden Globe Award in the same category. Director and Writer Hani Abu-Assad attempted to depict the life of a suicide bomber, but in the process angered fellow Palestinians as some claim it harmed their people and their national identity.
