Hamas rejects US funding

Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said that Hamas would not give in to American threats to cut aid as they do not need the “satanic” US money. Al-Zahar said that Hamas also has a social and economic agenda with which they intend to fight corruption and use education to promote a “culture of resistance.” Hamas does not intend to negotiate with Israel and believes that the Palestinian Authority was corrupted by the billions of dollars it received in foreign aid.
