Vandals burned the car of Deputy Commander of Judea and Samaria Police Lt.-Cmdr. Meir Bukovza at his home late Tuesday. Bukovza was the police commander of the January evacuation of the outpost of Amona, which turned into a violent battle between security forces and settlers. Bukovza has received many threats and has been under tight police protection since the evacuation.
