Terrorists thwarted in Purim attack

Monday, March 13, 2006 |

The Israeli army arrested two Palestinians from the Nablus area for attempting to smuggle into Israel 20 kg. of explosive devices. The smugglers hid the device in a jug carried in a bag. Police defused the device. Even though Israel has stepped up its security and has prevented Palestinians from entering Israel throughout the entire week of Purim, some from prominent terrorist organizations are trying to carry out a terrorist attack. Israel has raised the state of alert across the country as people celebrate Purim.
