Coalition parties demanding billions

Acting Prime Minster Ehud Olmert faces tough challenges ahead as coalition partners’ demands may cost billions of shekels. The struggle, once the new coalition forms, will be negotiations in socio-economic matters. Sources have said that all parties will need to make serious concessions when the matter is brought to the table. "Financial gaps between the sides are very large, with the parties’ demands totaling billions of shekels,” a source said.
