Two-time Euroleague basketball champions Maccabi Tel Avi lost to CSKA Moscow at the championships in Prague on Sunday night. More than 10,000 Israeli fans packed the Czech stadium to support their team. After losing to Tel Aviv last year, Moscow led most of the game and was victorious for the first time in 35 years. The Russian defense forced 20 costly Maccabi turnovers. Heading into the fourth quarter, Maccabi managed to take the lead until the Russians answered with two three-pointers as they took the lead and never looked back. Leading scorers for Maccabi Tel Aviv included: Will Solomon 20, Jamie Arnold 14, and Anthony Parker 10.
