Knesset to commemorate Herzl’s birthday

The Knesset (parliament) celebrated the birthday of Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, on Monday. A ceremony will take place Monday evening at Mount Herzl, where Herzl is buried. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Moshe Katsav will be present and invited 250 new immigrants to participate in the ceremony.
