Arab Member of Knesset (parliament) Talab El-Sana slammed the results of the Israel Democracy Institute survey calling for Arab emigration, and called Israel the world’s most racist country. Knesset member Israel Hasson said “the Israeli public has gone too far. Instead of encouraging emigration, we have been suggesting for years now setting a borderline separating the populations without any need for emigration of populations." MK Ahmad Tibi of the United Arab List added, “Racism became the main characteristic of Israeli society a long time ago. It moved from impassioned marketplaces to the Knesset and the government seats.”
