Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is scheduled to meet this weekend with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh, Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said. Abbas and Livni were set to attend the World Economic Forum in Sinai and would meet in addition to the international conference. However, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said that Livni’s trip has not been finalized. “No one on the Israeli side has said we will boycott Abu Mazen (Abbas),” he said. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is scheduled to meet US President George W. Bush on Sunday in Washington to discuss his convergence plan.
