Police are investigating an apparent suicide by an American immigrant after he allegedly desecrated a Mosque on Tuesday night in Samaria. The 28-year-old soldier from New York, serving in an Israeli army infantry unit, immigrated to Israel two months ago and went missing Tuesday evening. Army officials, fearing he was kidnapped, initiated a search and found the soldier dead when they entered the mosque.
