The Israeli Embassy in Vietnam recently implemented a humanitarian aid project involving 28 Israeli doctors who ventured out into the Vietnamese jungles and gave free medical care to the poor who never experienced modern medical treatment. Those who arrived at the camps to receive treatment had never seen a doctor before since most place their trust in spirits and gods to receive healing from their diseases. In one case, doctors treated a baby girl who had suffered severe burns while another boy had a heart defect where he was taken to the capital to undergo further treatment.
