Bringing a message of hope and encouragement, New York City Pastor David Wilkerson held a three-day conference in Jerusalem this week for believers in the nation.

Wilkerson has always had a strong and uncompromising message about Israel during his years as pastor of Times Square Church in the heart of New York City. About 3,000 people attended the opening night of the conference from several nations and from all over Israel including Messianic Jews, Arab believers and expatriate Christians who live or volunteer in the Land.

The conference theme was “Let us go up to Jerusalem.” Wilkerson exhorted believers that the Body of Christ is comprised of Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians who must work together. Wilkerson felt led to open these meetings to a larger audience, not just leaders in the land, because of Israel’s significance in the end times.

Wilkerson spoke at length with Israel Today about several subjects including end-time prophecy related to Israel and the Church’s attitude toward Israel and the Jews. See the upcoming issue of Israel Today (July) for the full interview!
