Dogs used for PM's security

Tuesday, June 20, 2006 |  by Staff Writer

The Prime Minister’s Office is beefing up its security by using dogs to detect explosive devices. In a trial run, two dogs were placed at the entrance of the prime minister’s office to sniff out bombs. The canines examined vehicles entering the compound for possible explosive devices attached to them. The dogs also inspected office workers and Knesset members entering. If this experiment succeeds, additional dogs would be used for office security.
