Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is scheduled to travel to Petra, Jordan on Thursday to participate in a second conference for Nobel Peace Prize winners. Jordan’s King Abdullah will host Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas at a breakfast during the conference. It is unclear whether Olmert would meet privately with Abbas in Jordan. Nevertheless, Olmert announced that he would meet with Abbas within a month. This is Olmert’s second visit to Jordan in two weeks. Also participating in the conference are former Nobel Prize recipients Shimon Peres and Elie Wiesel.
