PRC threatens to "butcher" yeshiva student on TV

The Palestinian Resistance Committee (PRC) said that it was holding Eliyahu Pinchas Asheri, a yeshiva student from the Samarian town of Itamar who went missing on Sunday. PRC Spokesman Abu Abir told Al-Jazeera satellite TV on Wednesday that Asheri would be “butchered in front of TV cameras” if the Israeli operation in Gaza does not cease. “Our patience is running out,” he said. Asheri was reportedly seen twice on Sunday, once near Beitar trying to hitchhike home and another time in the Jerusalem neighborhood of French Hill. Asheri was a student at Neveh Tzuf, a pre-military academy. The PRC only stated that they held a yeshiva student in a pre-military course, but would give no further information without a price.
