Israeli tanks and armored bulldozers moved into northern Gaza on Monday as part of a military operation to destroy tunnels dug by terrorists to infiltrate into Israel. “This is not a massive ground entrance. This is a pin-point operation to locate tunnels and explosives near the border fence,” an army source said. The Israeli Air Force resumed strikes over Gaza City targeting buildings used by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the terrorist movement of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement. Sources said that a man was wounded in a strike on Beit Hanoun. Hamas has threatened to retaliate by attacking Israeli schools, institutions, and power plants if the air strikes continue.
