Security officials warned the public of Hizballah’s attempts to kidnap Israeli citizens abroad.

In an announcement publicized in the aftermath of Israeli operations against Hizballah and because of what has been defined as the “trends that exist in the organization to kidnap Israelis abroad,” a list of recommendations have been released.

Israelis are to refrain from visiting Arab nations; are to pay special attention to country warnings, especially in Moslem countries; refrain from extending their stay abroad; are instructed not to receive gifts from strangers; and are to refrain from meeting with suspicious people or with someone they do not know, especially after dark.

Head of Intelligence Amos Yadlin warned at a Cabinet meeting that Hassan Nasrallah has surprised Israel numerous times one of which included the kidnapping of Israelis.
