Thursday, July 20, 2006 |  by Staff Writer

Vice Premier Shimon Peres said Iran disgraces the international community and until there will be a real response to the action of this country Hizballah and Hamas will “continue to run wild.”

Peres told Kol Israel (the Voice of Israel) in an interview that the day before the abducted of the Israeli soldiers Iran acquiesced to the demands of the international community to stop the production of nuclear weapons.

Concerning Syria, Peres said “It doesn’t play in the terrorist field, but from terrorist headquarters.”

He presumes the present situation will damage Syria’s political stance.
