Israeli warplanes renewed attacks on suspected Hizballah targets in southern
Lebanon on Friday, killing at least one person and wounding four others,
Lebanese security officials said.
Air Force jets fired missiles at a three-story building housing a
construction company believed to be owned by a Hizballah activist.
Army Radio reported that the Israel Defense Forces had decided to deploy
batteries of Arrow and Patriot missiles in the central coast region.
Meanwhile, IDF forces continued to search for weapons and terrorist
infrastructure in the region of Bint Jbeil.
Five Hizballah operatives were killed during clashes. No Israeli soldiers
were reported wounded. The Israel Air Force targeted 130 suspected Hizballah
bases overnight. The Air Force also targeted six Hizballah communication
centers and six rocket launchers.
